In this lab, please find some footage (or your own, or online) that you think could use some color correction.

Pull it into After Effects and experiment with using the Lumetri Scopes panel and Lumetri Color effect to adjust the footage.

As for the chrominance of the footage (saturation, hue, temperature, etc) try to make the footage as neutral as possible. Try to make skin tones fall on the diagonal skin tone line.

As for its tonality (darkness, midtones, highlights) try to expand the brights and darks so that they take advantage of the full capacity of the brightness range (0 thru 100 IRE). Try to adjust the midtones level so that they look nice — not too dark, not too bright.
