Due April 3rd at the beginning of class.
For this exercise, please create a 1280×720 video at least 20 seconds long employing the following operations:
- Motion Paths
- Animate a layer with a custom mask path. I.e., use the mask Pen tool (with RotoBezier enabled) to draw a motion path (on a temporary adjustment layer for example,) and then copy & paste that mask’s Mask Path property onto another layer’s Position property
- Use the Motion Sketch panel to “sketch” the animation of some layer in real-time
- Enable Auto-Orient for some layer so that it follows the orientation of its motion path
- Puppet tools
- Use the Puppet Pin tool to animate the deformation of some layer
- Use the Puppet Starch tool to control the starchiness of the deformed layer
- Use the Puppet Overlap tool to control the overlap of some parts of the layer. Use keyframes on the Puppet Overlap tool’s pins so that at one point in time the feature goes in front of another feature, while at another point in time it goes behind
